Managing Director and Lead Designer

Rebecca Surgey

Rebecca is a passionate interior designer with over 20 years of experience transforming homes into functional and desirable spaces. She leads the team at Lunar, delivering bespoke and carefully curated interiors for both residential and commercial projects. With expertise in space planning and colour theory, Rebecca brings a meticulous eye for detail and project planning to ensure every element aligns with her clients' brand vision.

Throughout her career, Rebecca spent 12 years with a creative interior consultancy, leading projects for major hotel chains including Marriott and Safestay, alongside luxury private homes, bars, and casinos. In 2015, she established Lunar with a focused mission of providing high-quality, design-led home staging services specifically for home builders and independent developers.

Executive Director and Head of Logistics

Darren Surgey

Darren’s key roles and responsibilities within Lunar are ensuring all FF&E items are thoroughly checked, stored and consolidated ahead of each installation. Darren oversees the logistics and installation for each project. A key part of each project is thoroughly surveying each site and working closely with the site team and liaising with the site management to ensure that each project is delivered in a timely and professional manner with minimal disruption.

A large part of Darrens role is ensuring the suitability and security of each item installed, whether that be artwork, a mirror or a bookshelf. This has always been a huge priority for us. The security and safety of everything we install is personally overseen and approved by Darren.

I lead our team to turn the design vision into reality by aligning strategy, people and precision, ensuring the highest quality finish is achieved on each project
